Free Football (soccer) Games

Ok... So I aint been a member long and I did a quick search for free football ect and didnt really find anythind regardind the watching of games through the pc.

I run a website for a local football league and decided to place the information on there as how to get the matched.

All the links to the software needed are on there as well.

My mate streams matches for something like that, he's got his own sattelite for receiving foreign channels.

He supplies it for a monthly fee website. £2 I think it is for one months unlimited viewing of any football match.

I bought something off ebay which supposedly gave you free football games. It gave you links like espn and others like that.

Yep it is legal. ONLY IF YOU DONT INTENED ON BROADCATING TO OTHER PEOPLE IE PUBS

Technically it's not legal. The majority of these programs run using P2P (peer to peer) clients, and as such are constantly sharing the signal with other computers (think bittorrent but with live feeds rather than stored files). This means any computer running one of the programs used to view these channels is acting as a broadcasting appliance, and is therefore infringing the broadcaster's copyright.
BUT, (and this is how I justify it to myself! ) the majority of these feeds come from Chinese or other east-asian countries, which aren't party to the major copyright conventions that would cover the same kind of feed from a UK source. This means the foreign channels are very unlikely to pursue any action over here. However BSkyB on the other hand are the primary suppliers of the live feeds to those foreign channels, and Mr Murdoch and co would not be very pleased at all to see their copyrighted pictures being beamed back to our screens via our ever-so-kind friends on the other side of the world!

The main channels are Star Sports and U38 which are chineese - Star Sports / tiger sports are actual Web based tv channels - more and more of these are popping up all the time there becoming the new QUIZ TV channels - its a hell of a lot cheaper for them to run the channel this was than running it through a normal sky channel.
