so the end of the Olympics

What did everyone think of the Olympics in China?

I think they were cracking, the stadiums were amazing, I saw a documentary on the Discovery Channel about how they made the National Aquatic Centre, and despite peoples fears about the smog I think the sporting action was great.

As for team GB... one of those proud to be British moments! It seamed to be as if we just owned the cycling and sailing events

I agree Jon.

Plus our performance in the pool was outstanding! We've done the best in the swimming for many a year, certainly the best since I can remember

Was just a pity that due to the time difference I didnt get to see much of the Olympics unlike the lazy students who probably stayed up all night, lol.

Am looking forward to London in 2012, hopefully I can get tickets for a few events. How many greens for track and field finals days?

I would have to recommend the sailing at Portland (well the 2012 seam to call it Weymouth, but it is actually in Portland - I know cos I used to live in Weymouth and my dad used to work in Portland)

Will provide some stunning coast line's to sail along

Re: so the end of the Olympics

I was actually really proud of team GB (unlike the England football team) and I really enjoyed the games. It's going to be great in London 2012 and since I live in London I'll definitely go to watch. China organised it well and despite lying about their athletes ages I think they done a great job with the games. I'm actually abit sad its over.

Hopefully in 2012 we'll be harder, better, faster, stronger.

I predict honours for anyone who won more than one gold medal for Team GB.

Rebecca Adlington and Chris Hoy defo.
