How does Rebtel work>

Hey guys , I was just wondering how rebtel works. I know you download the app on your phone and then deposit £7 into it but I have a few q's.

1) Do they aceept pre-paid master cards.
2) When do you turn green? When you've used up the £7?
3) So I'm not signing up for any contract or anything? Im just putting in £7?
4) It says for international calls but if the answer to Q2 is when you've used the £7 can I use the minutes on UK calls?
5) Does it take minutes off of your contract?

Not sure about answers to the other questions but I know for a fact pre-paid cards are not allowed/accepted.

Any account found to be using a pre-paid card is put on hold as it's against the T&C's to use them.

I contacted rebtel through email and got this reply :

Thank you for contacting us!

I will be happy to help you with your questions.

I cannot guarantee that you will be able to use a pre-paid card for adding credit. If it is a Visa or Mastercard gift card then you most likely be able to do so.

You can always try, if you are unable to do so contact us back. Make sure you input all details correctly and that you select the appropriate payment method when you
go to payments page.

We are very happy to hear you will be joining!

Please feel free to contact us if you need further information

Kind Regards,

Janine

Are you sure or is this something to do with the network itself?

I am 100% positive you cannot use pre-paid cards on offers. This is against FJ/Kudos T&C's.

It was nice of you not to believe me and contact rebtel to ask them a question I had already answered for you.

The customer support won't know any details directly relating to any network here, the person has answered the questions she knows. Prepaid cards may be allowed on rebtel but not on the freebie network in question.

No no no , I contacted them before making this thread but then when I hadn't got a reply after nearly an hour I decided it would be quicker making this thread. Then when I got two differing replies I decided to check with you.

Just to clarify, even if an offer company accepts them we will not. They are far too easy to use for fraud.
