Easycinema offer not credited

The offer says: Sign up for the DVD club and select from one of the three membership packages. To complete this offer, you must enter a valid credit card. You will get credit in 3-5 days.

I signed up on 08/04/2006 and selected the £8 package. It's now the 16th April thats been 8 days and my offer still hasn't been credited

I think a few people have had trouble with this? Is that right? Who do I contact about this problem?

Someone from here signed up to ipodnanos.freepay for me and did this offer on the 27/3!! Still not been credited either!! And now with freepay wanting their users to FAX the support ticket to them I doubt it ever will turn green..

This is from their support page...

If you did not receive credit for an offer that was completed more than 15 days ago, please fax the following information to us at (202) 478-0817:

FreePay User ID Number (aka Referral ID Number)
First and Last Name
Mailing Address
Offer Confirmation ID Number (if known)
Name of Offer
Exact or Estimated Offer Completion Date
(NOTE: We will not review credit offer inquiries that are less than 15 days old.)

Upon receipt of this information, we will contact the appropriate offer provider to ensure that you have completed an offer with them. This verification process by the offer provider can take up to 30 days. If successful verification is received by us, we will manually apply credit to your account for that particular offer.
So even if he would to fax them today the offer may not be credited until the the end of May.. when my deadline is up!

Ok.. I will stop ranting now..........

Cheers
Tom

I went green on this offer today but completed it on the 30/3/06 so it seems to be taking almost 3 weeks at the moment. Hang in there though - it seems they do go green eventually.

Oh good, no need to create a new thread...

I completed this offer on the 14th and still no credit, has anyone else been credited recently??

Unless they add another free/cheapish offer which i would do normally im just gonna abandon it and just give up on freepay as they have completly gone downhill. I may well fax them a no credit report but that just seems stupid...as theres nothing i can put in a fax which i couldnt in a email!!

h2w, it seems like this offer takes about 3 weeks to be credited.. so it may just take some time.. I was wondering the same but in the end the refs that did this offer was credited.. even if it took longer then normaly!

Cheers

Re: Easycinema offer not credited

my worry about this whole fax thing, is that most people including myself don't own a fax, now what if I fax from a friends house, and then they fax freepay also, are they gonna put me on hold, cos we both faxed from the same number???
