Yeah, it's not a very high mark-up but if they do that 10 times that's £400. It's risky, but i'd imagine worth it for them.

While I was doing a SERPs check on my Nexus One website, I saw an advert for one on Swoopo. The winner had used 1022 bids (£512) and got the phone for £90ish. They could have bought the phone from Google for around £500!

Seems I took it wrong. I saw some proofs here on eXceem from LBT so I can say myself that it is legit.

If there are people who invest all that money there and win lots of items, LBT should add a limit of gifts per month, for example, because it is not fair for the other members. You bid in an item and you are already expecting that those guys will win it.
