Chit Chat bingo nonsense?


Hi,

I have been trying to gather points on the kudos network for some time and I started off ok then the problems began - Firstly I had to ask for manual credit for emusic and Lee said that it possibly wouldn't happen - it has since been added as pending .....
Worse than that I shelled out the £10 for the Chit Chat bingo trial. Apart from the bingo itself being a huge waste of money I have had no points credited.
Lee says it doesn't look like it's going to credit - I don't understand, how can it just not be credited? especially when I have spent £10 on this!
Who regulates this website? and what incentive is there to continue with these trials when some things and credit and some things don't?

Just to confirm after taking the support tickets as far as I can and submitting all the evidence for a manual credit, I have been officially declined the points - No reason has been given but i have just been told by Lee that we';ll have to let it go. Not really good enough.

I don't know what you think you are going to gain from posting here.

I thoroughly explained how much Ive tried to get the credit un-declined. I have hit a brick wall many times.

If you think you are frustrated, multiply that by 1,000,000 and you will be close to how frustrated I am!! They have given me no reason for declining you, and you arent alone.

Im still going to chase it up but I have suggested to you that you just let it go. Its only £10 after all. Is it worth all this hastle??

Perhaps you should think twice about using a cheating affiliate on your network. You can't just let these things go. You said he wasn't the only one so where do you let it end? 2 people, 3 people, 4 people, 100 people?

Multiple these by £10 and your affiliate is making a joke of your network and your clients.

That offer has already been removed.

It was only 3 people, and the other 2 havent contacted me at all. Im still chasing up. I dont let any advertiser get the better of me. Trust me! I have been known to ring every hour until I get my customers a fair deal!! There is only do much I can do though...

To answer your last question first - given what has happened it looks like whole thing isn't worth the hassle!
If I'm not alone perhaps you should consider removing this particular link from your site.
I am entitled to let other users know what happened and also warn people that nothing is guaranteed and even though you pay money you may not get what is advertised - Surely this leaves you on thin ice from a legal point of view?
If a retailer refused to refund/exchange faulty goods you had just bought because they had a dispute with the manufacturer would you accept it? - No, you would demand what you paid for and are entitled to.
As for "Its only £10 after all", is that honestly your attitude - again how would you feel if a retailer said that to you?
The fact is I have spent a total of £20 (other offers on your site were successful, they weren't all bad!) but I should now have enough points for a £50 Amazon voucher.
This means I have to spend (risk) even more money to make up the deficit!
I think you should be crediting my account with the points I am owed and take up the dispute with Chit Chat bingo yourself.
Lee I understand that strictly speaking this isn't all your fault and you've obviously been trying to resolve it but I as the customer should not be liable for the breakdown in your relationship with Chit Chat Bingo.

I am sorry that the moderators on this site have not appreciated my candour but I have been 100% honest and stuck to the facts. People on here have the right to know what has happened to me and may appreciate this information - I'm not expecting to "gain" anything.

Just a quick update on this one - I did FINALLY get my points from chit chat bingo - they are totally inept and quite frankly a bunch of liars.
I had to pester them constantly via email for about 5 months. They kept saying they had sent the confirmation through to Lee which they hadn't.
So in the end I annoyed them so much they did it.
So I now have a £50 amazon voucher

there not liars some offers do get stuck in the system ive had 2 offers declined on point.kudos halfords and the ink factory for items i have actully got in my hand paid for by me etc but i never came on exceem and started a slagging match with the owner of kudos about chit-chat bingo.
at least you got your points and i think lee is owed an apoligy

Hi there,

They kept saying that they had sent the credit through when they hadn't - That makes them liars! (Also the fact that Lee no longer hosts their offer says alot!)
I didn't start a slagging match - I presented clear facts and expressed concern at the fact that you are a the mercy of the likes of chit chat bingo i.e. if you pay them for a trial and they decide not to credit you then you can do nothing about it.
In fairness Lee did try to sort it out and I appreciate it but I had to fight this myself in order to reach resolution.
I have posted here again to give closure to the story and let people know that it is now rectified and I got I paid for.
It is important to point out especially to new people who are considering this for the first time that this is a genuine offer and really is brilliant but if things go wrong there is very little you can do about it.
My problems weren't with Lee personally just the fact that there is no mechanism for dealing with problem companies like Chit Chat bingo.
I will certainly thank Lee for his efforts and for sending through my voucher so quickly (Thanks Lee!) but will not apologise to anyone for letting other people on this forum know what happened.

I dont blame you for airing your concerns. No problem with that at all.

Unfortunately, I have to draw the line somewhere when dealing with stuff like this. I only have so much time in a day, and have lots of other stuff to be getting on with. I fought this tooth and nail for weeks but eventually had to draw the line.

Well done for taking the initiative and getting it resolved!!
