When completing offers is it....

When completing offers is it necessary to give your real address deatails in?
Sorry if i'm not allowed to talk about this site, please tell me if i'm not cos it's not supported but i'm trying to complete offers on prize rebel and for some of the offers you have to put your address in, so do you HAVE do do this? Or can you use another address that you know is real?
I assume you will have to, i won't get loads of spam will i?
Sorry for the stupid question!
Thanks
Paul

Re: When completing offers is it....

Thanks Claire, i'll put real details in, just checking thats all thanks.
Ermm the reason i'm using prize rebel is because i'm too young to complete offers like Coral so i can't do referral sites, my only option is points sites, and i'm already signed up to points.kudos, who are very good but they don't have a lot of offers that i can do at my age :S
Prizerebel however have free surveys that i can do so thats great! If points.kudos had free survey's then i would defo go for them rather than PR.
Thanks

Have you tried points.freebiejeebies? Not sure what offers they have but there might be some offers you can do on that.
And they are exceem supported so you will be safe giving your address out.

there's also some offers on the 'other offers' category but I wouldn't advise dabbling with them. they're mostly for broadband internet which most of us have, online dating services, or the dreaded Books-Direct which any eXceem member will tell you to stay the hell away from as it'll cost you at least £50 and they have you by the balls so they'll be able to raise that amount to whatever they like when they like, and you have no choice but to pay up.

on a lighter note, though, there are repeatable offers on Points.FJ, namely, the retail category. just ensure that every time you visit one of the below sites, you go through the Points.FJ offers page link, and you'll get credited on all eligible purchases.

- GAME.co.uk

Re: When completing offers is it....

unfortunately, most points-based sites in my experience don't tend to have free offers. think of them as reward card schemes, on a much bigger and independent scale.

the T&Cs for the websites running the offers will tell you if you can do them while being under 18.

as a quick round-up, all of the retail sites such as GAME M&S and HMV can be done by under 18s, provided you don't try to buy anything with an age limit you don't pass. National Lottery is open for anyone above 16.

so long as you've got any sort of debit card, you should be able to complete those retail offers.

Re: When completing offers is it....

Yeah thanks i can do the retail ones, but you can only do each offer once, right? So i bet i can't add up enough points to get anything!
Oh do points.fj do referrals too? That would help me a lot.
And is there a custom order? Whats the minimum amount of points for it?
Thanks

Points.FJ - do referrals, u get 500 points for each referral who does an offer (or more depending on the offer they do).
Points.Kudos - do custom orders on 3000points min. (and u can also earn a % of your referrals offers)

Thanks sephora, and 500 points is great, but isn't it just 20% of what the referrals earn, like kudos? But yeah i'm never gonna get the 3000 points min for points.kudos unless i have loads of referrals, could happen though

Nope on Points.FJ you get a one 500 points (or more) for each ref that does an offer - so if you get 6 refs you get a £30 Amazon voucher w/o doing any offers yourself. But Points sites are really only good to complete offers yourself (or do Quidco or something). If you're planning on getting refs you might as well get them on proper sites and get more ££ value from them.

Re: When completing offers is it....

you can do the retail offers on Points.FJ as many times as you wish, so basically, whenever you're going to buy something from any of the sites available, simply go through the offer link again and it will track your transactions and award points accordingly.

personally I'm not really working towards anything on Points.FJ, just using it as a way of squeezing extra value out of every pound. if you're planning on specifically working towards an item, then Sephora is quite right in saying it's beter to go through the referral sites. even if you can't complete an offer yourself, most sites will let you exchange three or so referrals for an 'offer completion' credit; FreebieJeebies certainly allow this.

Re: When completing offers is it....

Thanks Sephora
Whats quidco?
Well yes, getting refs for a referral site would be easier, but i wouldn't be able to do anything when i'd got all the refs because i can't complete an offer, but i'm sure my parents would "do the offer for me" if i had enough refs. But i can't get refs until i get something for free to proove it so that leaves me working really hard on points sites. See what i mean? I'm stuffed lol My friends and family don't believe me.... yet (they will do soon ) And thats great that it's 500 points! So is it 500 points And another 20% of what they earn, once the referral has done their first offer?
And can someone tell me the free offers on points.fj please?
Thanks
Paul

Thanks Gulandril, yeah i suppose i could get an extra 2 or 3 referrals that would help me a lot, but would be REALLY hard to do in my opinion. lol And yeah thanks i didn't know you could do the retail ones again, thats a great help! And yeah good idea trying to get everything you can out of every pound
Does anyone know the free offers on points.fj?
Thanks

120 points. 'To earn the points sign up and order the free business cards.'

that's the only free one.

be aware that while the Books Direct offer says it costs £1.99, it actually costs upwards of £50. it's not advised to do that one under any circumstances, you'll get fleeced - especially since they order books on your behalf unless you specifically tell them not to every month.
