I bought the 2 Top Gear presenter books for £1.99

The rules are that you must purchase 2 further books within a year at full price.

I bought the 1st 2 manager special recommended titles and cost me £25

You must send the form back each month stating you do NOT want the recommended titles or the send you them by default. If they send them, and you dont want them, it costs £3 to send back

Thought I'd add that you don't have to send the form back saying you don't want the editor's choice, you can reject it online if you prefer.

I know when I was a member of the book club, long before it was an offer, it was always 4 books, somebody posted the other day an excerpt from the ts and cs of their site and it said 4.

Maybe it is 2 for this offer as youve already had 2 off them, and 4 if you are just a new member who didnt go through this offer

if i may ask, though, how long did it take to receive the books for anyone else who has tried this?

it's been over a week now and i haven't yet received the books. if this is a precedent then no way am i purchasing more books, but if i don't purchase more books, i have to return books i didn't get in the first place. the phrase "caught between a rock and a hard place" would be appropriate for this scenario.

is it normal for the deliveries to take just over a week, or is this merely a delay/hiccup?

Just remember to send back the envelope every month to say no to being sent the recommended choice! Otherwise your paying an extra £20 odd per month lol

once you've gone green is it possible for it to change back?

if you dont order two more books before you cancel i think they charge you £10 per book you should have ordered.

Some of the books for toddlers are quite cheap, I bought a couple for a relative, one was £3, the other £4.50.
