banner for my website?


Im currentley building my first website

www.freestuff.site88.net - Owt for nowt

but i need abit of help/quidance i would like a banner to put in my sig instead of just the address. also i would like to shorten my refferal link on my website to something like click here to go to my refferal page.

Also any other hints/tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated thanx alec

P.S Im a novice at all this really i need a book summat like building a website for dummies lol

When you add a link to the site it should allow you to specify an href that is your fj link and the text the link should use, that is where you'd put the click here.

And what help/guidance do you need on the banner in your sig. If you want one made there is a graphics thread on the board and there have been other posts explaining how to insert it into your signature.

And book like building websites for dummies

LOL the bit about the book for dummies was abit tongue in cheek but might be worth a try. i dunno if i could do a banner for myself does anyone do these? if so how much? id just like any constructive criticism really as ive only joined the freebie world since 28th of april and never built a site before. Maybe im rushing things. The only thing i really understand on the net is ebay LOL
