Fasthosts - how to cancel?

Hi,
i know you're not meant to talk about stuff like this but i am really stuck and need some help. I have had a fasthosts account for a while now (after i completed an offer ages ago). However, i no longer have any use for my domain or hosting package and i want to stop paying for it.

However, i have had a look through the site and on the help centre bit and i cannot find anywhere to cancel my account.

does anyone know how i can cancel my account?

yer i tried to cancel aswell

I emailed them asking them to cancel and stop payments, and they told me to email another address, who then told me this

'Your account is not yet closed. In order to ensure that your request is dealt with quickly and correctly please call our Customer Care Team on 01452 561858. The team operates from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.'

I do not want to pay money for them
BUT THEY SAY That the 12-month contract

You signed up for a 12 month contract, you gotta pay for a 12 month contract.

And if I delete a paypal account?
I live in a completely different country and they do not have accurate information about me, they do not have my name and information on where I live. Can they do to me? Can I just forget them?

Does your paypal account have correct information? If it does then they may be able to track you down if they feel it is worth it.

That's illegal, you agree to their ToS when you sign up and if you did read it then it will most likely say you agree to pay each month for 12 months. Stopping payments will break that agreement and you can actually get in trouble for it.

So the freebie site cancels your account, as you had no intention of staying with Fasthosts therefore a BAD lead, that seems fair no?
