Mobile Phone Ring Tone Offers

It has come to my attention that a few members think it is ok to try to scam networks offering the ring tone offers using free sim cards with not enough credit and faking names/addresses or putting in the names and address of people without letting them know.

Since this is obviously abusing the network and offer, this is at the end of the day, fraud.

yeah but going by the number of threads appearing on exceem its obvious alot of these people aren't handing them to friends and family.. oh well.. all the people trying to scam the networks will get busted.. i'm talking from experience, well not my own but someone that thought it would work.. and trust me, he did all the ip resetting and deleting of cookies.. these network owners aren't as thick as everyone thinks..

you shouldn't try and scam them anyway, i know which network we're talking about and with the refs needed for the sites, theres no need to do things like that.

The worst part is, if people continue to abuse it. It'll soon be pulled.

Re: Mobile Phone Ring Tone Offers

People should NEVER put somebody elses name or info down, or even just totally make it up. Thats harsh to the persons details you use, the network, and the companys registered on the network, as they will all receive false info.

I wouldnt be so confident. Considering GratisInternet only pays $8.75 for each lead on the ringtone offer, any sign of abuse and they will pull it, they still have offers like coral and lloyds TSB,

Re: Mobile Phone Ring Tone Offers

its not their only offers and they can and will pull it.. the ringtone company isn't making money out of any one signing up !! even the people that are sending the texts, no one is downloading the ringtone and no one is keeping the service. If the company aint making money, they'll pull it, freepay won't have a say in the matter..

plus the ringtone offers have been there sometime... so they'll soon be seeing the patten of no one keeping the service..

Your admitting your frauding the offer just to get a few refs that wont get through verfication?

You do know no-one in this sudden influx of the freepay method, has passed verfication. Sure a couple of icolated incidents may of received there gifts, but people jumping on the bandwagon late are the sort of people who will not stop complaining when things go wrong.

sorry mate, your thread (http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/gener...-ringtone.html) already suggests you're not looking to keep the service or use it, which would mean you're encouraging fraud.. so to speak..
