![]() | Re: Those credit card applicationsYou only have to be accepted for the card, you don't have to send back the credit agreement, in which case you wont get the card. I use the nectar card instead of my normal one now, loads of nectar points rolling in from now on!

IMO EVEN if you have to send the agreement back and they send you a card, the terms of the offer don't mention having to use the card so it's at your discretion. I however have stopped using my original credit card and buy everything on my american express nectar card, makes more sense to get points towards getting other stuff instead of nothing.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Those credit card applicationsyeah what landy said. Except just to be sure i would send the agreement back. Obviously you don't have to use the card unless you want to so there's no harm sending the agreement back just to be safe. Unless you have no willpower and HAVE to use it! In which case i would wonder what you were doing on exceem looking for freebies!!

![]() | Re: Those credit card applicationsHave just applied for that Nectar card myself, its got a hefty APR so have to be right on the installments. 5000 bonus nectar points for using it once can't be bad tho

![]() | Re: Those credit card applicationsNo charge mate, If you really dont want it or want to use it, phone 'em up and cancel the card, however using a credit card and paying it off every month is a good way of building up your credit rating.

![]() | Re: Those credit card applicationsBe wary. If you read the T&C's the card companies have a right to charge you an administration fee if the card becomes dormant. |
