Smartstamp problem- help!


I just tried to complete the royal mail smartstamps offer for my hdgiveaway account, but when i got to the final stage of setting up direct debit and clicked next, it told me an error had occured, and that the error would be highlighted below. apparently i had not ticked to say I understood terms and conditions, however i had, obviously. I ticked again, double checked my details and clicked next-same message. And again, and again. Anyone else had this problem? If i ring the support number tomorrow and set the payment up over the phone, will my giveaway account be credited still? As i have signed up to royal mail via the offer link, just not completed the payment.


Any advice much appreciated!

I think I may have the answer for you Naomi as I had the exact same problem and it was doing my head in.

Basically, if I'm correct, you are using Internet Explorer like I did and I got the same messages. I was then advised to use Firefox and try using that. I did so and it worked first time for me and my offer was credited within a day.

If you dont have firefox it can be downloaded at
Firefox - Rediscover the Web

Download it and then log into your giveaway account with firefox and do your offer. Lemme know if it works

Thanks so much arctic- I bet thats what it is!! Sadly, i'm goin to have to wait now anyway to finish the offer as I had to cancel a holiday today due to a passport problem and re -book another one for the week after, meaning i am rather broke and don't dare let anything else come out of my account. Damn!! Really want my TV asap to help with funds, only need 8 more greens for a 32"-er.... I will complete it next week thanks again

ah so tha't what the problem was- i rang them up and they told me it was a fualt on the site!
