Lovefilm reversed why???

I did the lovefilm offer for the nextgengiveaway thing and I have just had it reversed. I rented 2 movies in total and did it for about 10 or 11 days I think. Has anyone else had this and do they know if there is anyway to sort it out?

Ye I got R-point and steamboy, which I had for a couple of days each and I had others lined up, but I called to cancel the trial cos I didnt want to have to pay for membership

If he goes to his account, there will be a section that tells which films have been sent out and also which have been returned, so I wouldnt have thought he would have to keep any tear offs.

A support ticket would probably be his best bet, could be the problem lies elsewhere?

Same happened to me, support ticket sorted it out simply enough.

Same i have waited 12 days, rented 2 dvds and nothing is happening ???!

Sometimes the offers do not track correctly, which means the sites have to apply for manual credit, whereby they have to contact the company e.g. LoveFilm, and get them to go through their records to make sure the account in question has done everything to meet the offers requirements, this can sometimes take up to a month for the companies to reply.

It could be that you had a Lovefilm cookie from another site on your system when you signed up for the offer.

I dont quite understand what your saying. But you must only sign up to LoveFilm once.

I mean that if someone clicked on a Lovefilm link from site x but didn't sign up to Lovefilm, they still get a cookie put on their computer for 30 days so that site (x) can still get credit if the person signs up in that period

If the person was then to go to another site (y) within those 30 days and click a Lovefilm link and sign up, I think site x would get credit as they generated the initial click.

yeh a lot of them work. You can't really know which ones will definitely come. You can be sure that the ones from big companies will always come.

I did one of those ticket things on the site and all they said did was ask questions about if i rented any movies (i already stated that i rented 2) and that i must not hav done the offer right blaa blaa, but im pretty positive that i did it right

were you a new customer could the problem be that you have previously done a trial through one of lovefilms companies ie screenselect, sainsburys etc?

after talking abit more to the giveaway network they have asked to see screenshots of the previously rented tiltes and the introductory email from lovefilm which i have sent them so just waiting on the reply

Lovefilm is crap, it never completes ! So you end up paying for a month !
