Hey,

I think I understand this new lovefilm process now, i've read loads of threads on it but i just want someone to confirm i've got it right.

I'm on real incentives and have had 14 or so yellows over the weekend. Sadly, I know they've all signed up to the lovefilm offer. Will the yellows now only turn green once they have finished their free trial (and therefore no chance of them being reversed)

I only want confirmation cos i lost 7 greens last month on consoles and 3 on ps3 and i don't want to get my hopes up again. Are greens now almost definite (barring fraud of cause)

It's pretty simple!

To complete the offer they must recieve 1 dvd from Lovefilm (they don't need to complete the trial to get credit for the offer)

So when they recieve their 1st dvd they will turn green and it cannot be reversed

Moviedrom, your referrals will turn green once we hear from Lovefilm that they are legitimate offer completions. We get this report more often than before and so now we don't give credit unless we know for sure that they are legitimate completions.

i recieved a dvd and sent it back

and i decided i didnt want to carry on the service so i cancelled


and i got reversed

That's quite worrying, did you take it up with them?

No i asked r.i and they said it was nothing they could do.

i just couldnt be bothered with the hassle of emailing lovefilm so i just left it.

I wonder how many of the collective reversals did actually complete the offer to the networks specification yet still had their greens reversed.

I would doubt very much that you are an isolated incident

I had 3 reversed and i haven't bothered following up whether they completed or not. I just assumed that because they had been reversed they hadn't actually done the offer.

love film is starting to get really annoying... i had one my greens reversed and they are paying for the service stilll it got turned back to yellow! grr

Yup, its annoying but if its been reversed it's not giveaways fault. If it gets reversed that means they dont get any money so wont credit the account. It may have been revesed for other reasons, get your referal to open a ticket, they might get told then.
