YepItsFree.com Closing - 16th March

YepItsFree.com Closing - 16th March

Hi all,

sorry I have been absent of late, but I have been trying to sort the site out, but to no avail

FIRSTLY - ALL CURRENT ORDERS WILL BE FULFILLED

Here is the issue, as some of you are aware I have been having tracking issues pretty much from day 1 and as virtually no offers are being tracked, the site can not operate, I have spoken to both Trade Doubler and Affiliate Future and they have both ran tests and tell me my links are tracking 100%, this leaves the website script

I have spoken to the script owners and they tell me that the scipt is functioning 100% as well

So according to both sides that make reward sites work, they are working perfectly, yet I am still having virtually no tracked offers at all

Now TD will payout on untracked sales...to an extent and at only 50%, now given this I am currently at a loss of nearly £190 due to half payouts. To give a clearer understanding, all refs are based at £25, but my average payout is £6, so I am running at a huge loss when I purchase the rewards, so much so that I am now down

I have been looking into using another script, but I have lost confidence in the affilaites, although others are having no problem, I even asked Ash (RI) to check my links and he agrees that they are correct, so I really have no idea what the problem is

As both sides of the site (affiliate and script owners) are saying each is working 100% I have no choice but to close the site

I would love to say I will payout £x per completed offer, but there is no money in the kitty for this, quite the opposite in fact with me being out of pocket

Now I know there will be the "He's a scammer!", "Yet another scam!" etc, but if that is the case then I am not very good at it as I am at a loss! Also, I'm sure the more civil of you on here will agree that I have been nothing but upfront and honest regarding the site and the issues within

Although this is out of my control, I can only appologise and wish good luck to all of the other networks

Matt

You can say that again! If only one side had a problem then maybe I could resolve, but as both are saying there isn't, I am completely stumped!

Sad to see another site closing, but at least you are honouring orders. I hope your ebay shop continues with it's success.

So, even if they're 'waiting for approval' they're not being tracked?
I finally managed to get some people to do an offer & was waiting for my last 2 to be approved - only needed 3 for my gift...

This was me changing the status so you knew it had been seen, but no, still not tracked.

Re: YepItsFree.com Closing - 16th March

I am sorry to hear this Matt.

I have not been on my PC much at home, too busy decorating the new nursery. (Am on lunch in work now taking 5 lol)

I received a gift from yepitsfree the other day, I received Crackdown for the xbox360 (3 refs) I liked the site, but due to the tracking issues went for a game and ordered 4 weeks ago rather than go for something bigger.

Matt, you have been nothing like the previous sites, you have always been up front and honest. It is good you have posted your reasons for closing.

This is a man with retail experience who due to problems outside his control can not make an affiliate site profitable. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take note of this those of you kids who think you can run a site profitably, please think again.

Thanks, glad to see people understand the situation.

Today is a sad day, have officially closed the site maybe one day when I have more money to (possibly!) waste I'll try again, but will probably put this to bed and leave it to the guys who have a working site!

Thanks again

Matt
