Hi all,

just a quick update to keep you all in the loop.

As you are no doubt aware there have been some tracking issues with Which? of late, now all sorted thankfully however it has left a bit of a trail behind it in the form of untracked sales.

There may be a number of you with referrals who have been showing as waiting for approval for a while now, I have contacted TradeDoubler, sent over a full list of all untracked sales and am waiting for them to credit manually.

Unfortunately as they have been untracked I am only getting a 50% payout, but this won't effect anyone who goes into verification, I will just have to foot the difference as although it isn't my fault, it definately isn't yours!!

Anyways, just thought I would keep you up to date as there have been a few people scamming of late and wouldn't want anyone to think that of me

Hi,

there was an issue with viewing the offers page in IE7 and I think it was AOL some of you were having problems with aswell, IE7 has now been fixed , but can anyone on AOL also take a look and confirm if it is showing ok?

Before the text and banners were all on top of each other, like someone said, as if the page had puked up on itself!!

Hopefully all should be fine now when viewing, but if someone could just check and let me know that would be great.

Yeah its looking fine in AOL now. All spaced as it should be on the status page.

Not gonna be on AOL for much longer, just signed up to another supplier and will be changing soon!

Any news on when you're doing all the improvements to the site? I've already had people tell me they've done an offer and not received credit. I've checked and they haven't clicked the stupid "I've completed this offer" button

My coders are releasing a new version of the backend, so they are very busy, so I am in the queue for my mods, I have been told they should be done by around 10th-12th feb. It's a way off I know, but is out of my control.

To be honest I dislike the offer completion button and have asked they make the offer completion and try button one as standard, but they didn't respond to that request!!

Anyways, should all be updated in the coming weeks...

Oops!
Does that mean if they haven't clicked the 'I've completed this offer' button, they won't get credited? (until they do?)

I think when they click the button it sends Matt a message so he can update. Not sure though...

BTW Matt, have you updated credits recently? I seem to have an awful lot of yellows
(I say 'yellows' but they are of course all the same colour )

@RawPheonix - if they don't click the link, then it won't show in Admin for me to approve, however this is something being changed shortly so only one button needs to be clicked to complete the offer and register as having completed the offer

@Scribbler - I update daily, but I am having issues with TradeDoubler at the moment were it seems that only 1 in 2 or 3 offer completions are tracking, meaning I am having to send over the details for manual approval, which takes a while!

Will this change be retroactive? ie; will it effect those already waiting to get credited?

Hi, Think this question may have already been asked but could not really find the answer so apolgies if it has. I still have some referals with the status of "Waiting for Approval" dating back to 03/10/07 even though I have "Approved" offers on other offers since. Are these "Waiting for Approval" offers likerly to still get approved of is it too late. Should I expect all "Waiting" offers to either turn "Approved" or "Not Approved" or will they just stay "Waiting"

Hi,

basiaclly, with all the tracking issues with Which?, there are still a number of untracked sales needing manual approval from the affiliate. Also there are a number of untracked sales since then which are also needing manual approval, unfortunately all I can do is send over the info then bug them every other day until they approve them!

As soon as I get an answer back, the status of referrals will be updated accordingly

Seriously Matt, you need to sort this "I've completed this offer" button. I've had no end of people asking why they've not been credited. There's bound to be others who have completed an offer but not clicked the button! I feel I'm missing out on referrals here...

I agree with you Scribbler. Even though I explain to my refs that they should click the button they are still not sure what to do and I know that several more people have completed offers than are showing on my account.

Any offer completions shown by the affiliate but not showing in admin waiting for approval I contact directly asking them to click the dreaded completion link!

Hi all,

unfortunately I have had to remove Which? and LOVEFiLM from the site as I am having serious tracking issues with TD

To give you an idea, I am currently waiting on over 90 untracked sales to be investigated and manually approved by TD, they have so far only manually approved 6!

At the moment I am getting an untracked rate of around 80-85% of all offer completions, having spoken to another network owner, they are not having this issue so there is clearly a problem somewhere with my links.

As I only get paid out 50% of untracked sales, I am currently running the site at a massive loss so to save me going under and having to close the site I have had to pull the offers until the tracking issues are resolved.

Even though this is out of my control, I can only appologise and hope the issues will be resolved sooner rather than later
