I still prefer the other way like how the sites Forfree4u work etc. You can click and look through all the offers and then complete one, and you are gived credit. You dont have to click any button or anything.

But im not complain, just my view Dunno how everyone elses feels about this method, same as ipodsnatchers

I like the sound of your site and your honesty so I will be signing up.
However to call the site YepItsFree and to have no free offers is rather misleading.

I think I will struggle to get sign-ups if people actually have to pay. I would suggest increasing the number of people you have to refer per offer would be by far the best idea. I would prefer to refer 10 people on a free offer than one on a need to pay offer.

If it is me personally i do not like that way. As it misleads people and normally people dont seen to do offers properlay grr lol. I much prefer just to click the banner and complete it, then it gets updated automatically.

i dont like this either, ipodsnatchers is a good site but i think that is a floor! not trying to sound pushy but you should change that! i had alot of friends click offer completed thinking they had done it right under my instrustions; these poeple are good on computers and they made the mistake...

i recon it would bennifit not having a 'i have completed this offer' button...

anyway looking forward to the lauch cant wait to sign up under your link... waiting on midday

At the moment there are no free offers, however I will be adding free offers in the future, it would be a bit hard to change the domain and branding further download the line , so have started with the name from the off.

I am currently discussing with my sites coders how to change the site so that, as bruffterman suggested, a free offer will count as your full offer, but has half a referral. This will then allow you the option referring people to complete one paid offer, or 2 free offers in order to get your green.

As this will be classed as a custom mod to the script and I will be charged (still waiting onthe quote) I have kept the script standard to keep the start-up costs down. All I have spent extra on at start-up is the site design.

But all this feedback will only help me make the site better, so keep it coming!

Not sounding harsh by all means, but I wouldn't work on your site while free offers by referrals are only counted as 1/2s. Just a suggestion, I'd make them full credit!

The advantage to the button, is that the site owner knows you've completed the offer, so if there is any problem with the rediting they can go look and apply manual credit, or ge in contact with you to explain the problem, you don't have this having to wait X amount of days before asking where your credit is etc.

As far as the free offers are concerned, I really think this is the best way to implement it, giving people the choice of trading for a full "green" offer, 2 half "green" offers, or just referring 2 people who each complete a half "green" offer will make the site that bit more flexible and easy to do.

I'm really looking forward to the launch of this site, I think you sound like you have some idea what you are doing, and I hope you continue to stick around here to offer support etc.

@Chigley Making the free offers full credit will only mean having to increase the number of refferals needed, this is a pain for those of us who complete by trades, as nearly all traders have done all the free offers already.

I was reading through this thread and am suprised that it has not had any posts since 18/12. For a new site, this suprises me a bit.

Matt, how is the site going? I read on Exceem about the Freebieclub scam so I'd guess that you may have been an unfortunate victim of the poor publicity that new freebie sites have had of late.

By the way, please can you put a link to your Ebay shop.

Also, out of interest, please can you let me know if you have set up YepItsFree as a Limited company? If so, please could you give the Companies House registration number. That would give an indication that your site is legit and plans to be around for the long term.

I hope I don't come accross as negative or anything - I have signed up myself but will wait until I have completed some other sites before I start promoting yours. I think that any further assurances you can give would benefit future sign ups.

the site is going very well at the moment, bearing in mind the site is only in it's infancy.

I haven't set this up as a limited company for many reasons, not wanting to get technical, but I am alot better off keeping as a sole trading company for the time being. One of the main reasons not to is I would have to bring in someone as a director and/or secretary to set up as limited, which I am not in a position to yet.

You don't come across as being negative, just cautious, which can only be expected. At the end of the day, as I and others have said on numerous occasions, only time will tell. I can assure you I will be here for the long term, but that doesn't really mean alot when you don't know me!

I do intend being here long term as I have not only spent alot of time, effort and money putting the site together, but I also see this as being profitable and I would be silly to make a large amount of cash in 2 months and disappear, when I could sustain a large amount by continuing to trade over a long period, which is what I intend to do.

This may or may not put your mind at ease regarding the site, but there isn't really anything else I can say or do until the gifts start getting sent out and people start to post as proof.
