Hi,

My name is Seb and I am the new owner of Exceem. I use freebie websites a lot and have extensive knowledge of the topic. I live in London and have wanted a pet but do not have one

I own the following websites as well:

fortunefreebies.com (freebie website) (which will remain unsupported and treated like any other freebie website)
googleplusoneservice.org

I hope to keep a very good relationship with other network owners and be able to support everyones needs.

I had deliberately held off posting, as wasn't sure how appropriate it would be as I would not want to undermine Seb's position as new owner. That said from chatting with him before we completed the process he does have some good ideas on ways to take things forward.

I have suggested the best thing to do at the moment is to hold off any changes until Seb is fully familiar with eXceem and what it is about, it is not like other typical freebie forum, it is a freebie community, and with the right direction it will carry on to be a community.

The only change I think needs to be made soon is to sort out some new moderators, as I do not plan to have a active role in eXceem in the medium-long term, other than just as a regular member, I know Emma is also wanting to do the same, now is a good time to bring in some more "new blood" into the team. To that end I have suggested that Seb pick out some people he has been impressed with, I will then give him my feedback on that list, and leave him to make the final decision.

I don't believe you have made a bad decision with picking seb1, he just made the mistake of not being honest from the beginning, which i can understand with people thinking wrongly for promoting his site, which i do believe would of happened if he was honest too.

Trying to deceive a well established NON-BIAS freebie forum by playing down the main players in the Freebie scene, who most of us are here because of. Not a smart move, especially by the owner!
