If you're only with plus for the free trial as part of the welcome back package, one the trial is up you'll lose the game.

I was going to download a few of the free ones available on plus but when I read that they are removed when plus runs out I didn't see much point in downloading them.

A: Yes. Any content you purchase at a discount is yours to keep, regardless of your subscription status.

I am guessing this applies to burnout? I am guessing the content you lose are themes, betas and what not.

Discounted items yes, free items no. It displays a little blurb about the game being removed when your plus runs out.

Oh ok Ah well, i have burnout and all the expansions anyway.

yeah I was aware I would loose it after 30 days. but It won't last me that long, so I figured it was worth it :L
