Exam ban's

As in previous years some members requested they be banned from eXceem as its to addictive and could interfere with their exam revision. If you would like to be "eXam banned" please report this post with dates you want it to start, and finish and it will be processed in due course.

Good luck to eXceem members who have exams coming up

Funny enough you say that. I could have sworn he said something about wanting a one month ban too, as from today I recall

IMO gcses were the easiest exams I ever did. You really didn't even need to be that clever to do well. All you needed to do was learn what you were going to be questioned on in the exam, and it was easy to work this out from looking at past papers. You hardly actually apply anything you learn at GCSE level, most of it's just recalling information.

Rhys, what are your predicted grades?

Pfft I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome of this!

I like to think I can manage my time well enough with my revision, should be cool in everything except in English.

EDIT: Also, if I was banned, I'd end up viewing eXceem logged out and would just get annoyed that I couldn't read extra!

Unless things have changed since late 2006, you are be able to logout and browse the forums as a guest instead of a member.

First exams are German oral and drama moderation on 6th May; I then finish for study leave on 8th May, with the bulk of exams running from 18th May to 18th June. I've been (having attempts at) revising since the first week of Easter, but I'm currently being side-tracked by my technology coursework.

Right OK, must be based on IP address now. I'll just take your word for it.

How many are you taking Rhys? You seem pretty confident that you'll ace them, but you don't come across as academically focused.

I've only had the option of taking 10
but I'm thinking of dropping welsh, and taking cida(dida in some schools) no exams all assesments, and you get two, so i'll walk away with 11

I don't want to come across as academically focused tbh, in person i come across and intelligent if you spent time with me, apparently.
NORMALLY there are two types of people in school, the ones that are, and the ones that aren't, the ones that naren't have alot more fun.
My brother got top marks in every exams he's ever taken(litterally, all A*s in GCSE, 100% in alot of his 6 a-levels, and in both his collage exams thingyys at the end of year, he's got firsts with is like omgg)
I don't want to be like him...
I'm not fussed about going to oxford or anything like that, i know what i want to do and i know what i have to do to get there

A Levels are better! With GCSEs i had 11 subjects, many of which i disliked. Now i'm doing A Levels i'm doing subjects that are interesting and enjoyable, of course there is more revision, i just didn't revise for GCSEs really and didn't get lower than B, but as i found in January i got 2 Cs, so i know i have to do that little bit extra revision to achieve the A or B as i only revised the week before the January exams
