Just thought I would say i asked to be banned till 11th of june and it unbanned me today, so there might be a small problem with the system or something :S

not to worry though, im happy to be unbanned now please

If you thought you were banned til the 11th, why were you trying to access exceem before that date? No willpower lol

The reason you got unbanned earlier is because we can not set a specific date, its either up to 7 days, 10 days, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and then monthly or a perma ban.. could ahve made it a perma ban but then we might have forgotten to unban you so did the closest possible.. I am more then happy to ban you for another 6 days, no problem!

GCSE's aren't the be all and end all.... even for top Uni's and law schools.
Do you need to interview for LSE? I doubt they slam the door in the face of anyone without 7A*s..

My friend has recently suffered from a blood infection, which has settled in his spine, causing him a great deal of pain and making him miss 6 months of GCSE preperation. He has the potential, when recovered, to do very well in his AS's and A levels, but due to his health he has had to drop some GCSE's and now he is looking at B's rather than his predicted A's and A*s.

Will this prevent him from getting into a quality Uni? No.
I know oxbridge students who have got in with less than 4A*s... It all depends.

BTW, if anyone wants to go to Oxford/Cambridge, consider doing the IB if your school/ college offers it. Im not doing A levels in sixth form, doing the International Baccalaureate instead as i have an opportunity to score higher. Top marks (45 points) is more than 7 A's at A level in UCAS points.

So yeah - GCSE's are important, but only as important as you want them to be.
