I think its interesting! It does sound like a good feature, being able to store games on the HD will definatley makes things easier as CD's never last. These nextgen consoles are slowly getting more features that your regular PC gets, just hoping they still focus on the gaming side of things.

Im trying to get an xbox 360 at the moment, its my first attempted freebie! Was living with a mate who had a xbox last year and made me really want one.

Although you can put your game on the xbox hdd you still need to put the game in the tray to play (you can still scratch it that way).

The only advantage is that the disc does not spin.

Just thought I'll mention it.

ahhh i suppose that stops people just borrowing mates games and putting the on their HD for free. Though i seem to remember if you got the old xbox chipped you could play games without the discs. Wonder if you can do that with the 360?

Not quite true, the load times are quicker which is another advantage... for impatient people.

No, the xbox 360 doesen't really get chipped as such, there is a drive firware hack that anables people to play copied games (not recommended on live).

You can not play your games from the hdd only even if your xbox has been modded.

Hope I am not breaking any rules talking about this on here.
