Downtime (again)

Sorry for the downtime over Saturday and the early hours today, yet again the server had a hard drive issue, which was totally un-related to the first one we had 8 weeks ish ago, which meant that the server had to be wiped and started afresh.

You will notice that posts made on Friday were lost. The last "good" backup was made at 1am Friday morning, the 1/2 daily backups were lost in the server.

Things may turn off and on over the next few hours - normal service will resume shortly

I do have to say sorry to the few people who I pulled their leg slightly saying I had done a runner with the money! there is no money so im back

Thanks for your hard work Jon. As already said, I and most other people have been lost without eXceem and will be glad to see it come back online.

enough to pay the bills, but not enough for me to get out of the country (unless i find one of them £10 cheap flights things, but even then they make you pay the tax and fuel surcharge etc)

I had to have conversations.. with real people... out loud, with no edit button ... I had to keep winking and sticking my tongue out throughout the conversation to get the correct emotion across... you really dont want to see a 6'4 23 stone man rolling on the floor laughing his arse off.

I ended up "visiting" Tesco (twice) Asda and Morrisons in the evening before Pizza Hut....mmm pizza

during the day I opened my copy of FIFA 08 and played online. I played the game where you choose what position you want to play and become one member of the team, I love that option, heck I even scored a goal (even though I didnt mean it )

But a big thank you to Jon as Mrs Fox was so fed up at watching me refreshing the screen waiting for exceem, that she agreed to ring sky and get the sports channels added so I could watch Man Utd play

I had a poorly child to look after so didnt have much time to miss exceem, but as mrs icks went out to a wedding reception I had to start work on a new website!!


once i get my ps3 it will either be fifa or pes, depends how I get on with the controllers.. are they ps2 sized?? just rebadged or are they larger? I have biiiiig hands!

Yeah, the PS3 controllers are the same size I think Although, I'd still say get a XBox 360

Yay, eXceem is back!

I've only been a member for.. gosh, 5 days, and I was already missing this place as soon as it went down. I'd just started to build my own website too and wanting to sign up under a few people for two different offers but had no way to do that! I thought about going somewhere else and giving two random people some greens but the idea just didn't feel right. I think I may have pestered a few people with my 'Is eXceem down??' emails too.. I even made friends with Down for everyone or just me? - haha!

I'm glad the site is back.
