Warning to all eXceem members

It seams that a non-eXceem supported network (nore is it even featured on eXceem) has been using users log in details on that network to access its users other free gift accounts on other free gift networks.

We at eXceem are collecting evidence of this and will be passing it on to the Police and other authorties which need to know, but suggest to members that they take the following steps

• Change the password on all your online accounts if you use the same password for all sites
• Compare the networks you have joined to the networks listed in both the supported networks and not yet supported networks on eXceem

We also recomend that you use good pratice when using the internet in general, such as keeping different passwords for different sites, never clicking links in emails, always type the link into your browser etc

I know you probably cant give out the networks name but any clues so that members will remember if they signed up before.

I can only add to members that if a network suddenly springs up on exceem saying they are new and offering a free green for signing up etc. Please dont rush in and sign up until exceem has stated whether its a genuine site or not. If its genuine, their free green offer will last a few days, so no rush.

I see people sign up to these sites and before you know it, they are on different freebie sites offering trades. To me these are wasted trades.

Thanks Jon, I'm assuming it's a network I haven't joined as I only join those which pass the initial 'test'. I really don't want to go changing all my accounts, there's sooo many.

what is this site that is using peoples details and hacking? because i havnt been using freebie sites for a while and i was wondering if it was a site i had signed up to before.

A clue would be handy because all full of beans and fresh and ready to start i joined up to a bunch of carp and handed out my details willy nilly before I became a sane and reflective member of eXceem and decided where to direct my focus.

It was only a month ago and I have everything notepadded but I would appreciate a direct heads up naming names if I have potentiallly gotten myself into something dodgy not realising it at the time.

With the freepay debacle, it is notable not only that it's happening in the time frame for those accounts that are at an ordering stage, but also that it's happening to newbies who signed up and got started in similar time that i did rather than regulars .. I don't know if we were all unlucky enough to join something else that was bad at the same time? Frankly though, if we all did do a boo-boo, or if there's a risk that we or some of us did, I'd like to know who or what we did it with sooner rather than later so I can protect my details and also not work on that particular place any further.

if you're worried, drop Jon a pm.. he's already said he aint giving out details to the public as he wants to do things right but i'm sure if you contact him with your concerns, he'll get back to soon..

If you have joined any sites in January or Feburary this year, that don't have a subforum on eXceem (supported or pending) then please PM me with the sites you have joined and ill let you know then. If you have just joined sites that have subforums on eXceem then everything is good

This is the type of 'Scam' site that most non-freebie hunters think is the norm !
This will not do the freebie scene any good at all
As soon as the site is named (and i'm not saying to name it now) then the better for us all!

OK, thanks for the info... can't you ban the ip address which is been on peoples accounts and see if it matches a member who has registered.

If you've read the other threads, Jon seems very much aware of who is responsible for this.

Best just to follow the advice given in the first post and let Jon and the authorities get on with it.
