Re: iPhone released in the UK

There's a nifty guide on HUKD. It explains how to buy one from the US Apple site for cheaper, get it posted here and get it unlocked. It saves money from the actual cost of the iPhone and from the contract.

My friend has done this with one from USA, the only thing is, Apple can block the unlocking hacks with future software updates. The 02 tarrifs available for the iphone are rubbish for the price they are.

Yes they can bring out updates, but a "roll-back" software will then be released to uninstall the updates and revert to the vulnerable OS. The same thing happened with the PSP.
