Activation Email

Hi, I signed up to shuffle.myfreegadget.co.uk yesterday.

The problem I have is the activation email hasnt come through and I've re-sent it to myself about 5 times and still nothing. Its been over 24hrs since signing up!!!

Any one else experienced this or does anyone know why this is happening?

My service provider is AOL, so my email is AOL would this have anything to do with it???

I hope someone can help

Thanks

AOL is a bloody nightmare!

All our mails get sent to the junk folder and there is nothing we can do to stop this - we have tried everything.

Check there is not raise a support ticket and we'll do it manually.

Re: Activation Email

Ok, i have had the same people for some of the people who register under my unique referral links i.e. friends. I now know how to solve the problem for a hotmail account, basically as you already know they automatically go under the junk mail however for some people they don't even receive the activation email.

How to solve the problem: First of all adjust the settings for your junk mail because some people have the setting set so that if anything is sent to the junk mail folder it is automatically deleted.

Another reason could not be because of that but because your filter level is to high and will delete the message that hotmail beleives is probably spam. So adjust the filter level to low and everything should be alright and you should be able to receive the activation email!

I guess this also works for AOL email accounts but i'm not sure, try it out.

Hope this helped!

Regards,
Shaun

Re: Activation Email

You don't need a password or anything to raise a support ticket.

Another option is to add the following addresses to your address book.

admin@myfreegadget.co.uk
admin@myfreegadgetnetwork.co.uk
no-reply@myfreegadgetnetwork.co.uk
