hey i was just wondering how many muslims are there on eXceem as it is Eid soon.........And I may be feeling generous!

I'm a muslim, I've missed out 3 fasts though which I will have to make up afterwards I guess. When is Eid, I heard two weeks sunday, this week sunday.

Eid is a sort of Islamic holiday celebrating the end of the month Ramadan where muslims ahve to fast from sunrise to sunset. One Eid, we get up early, have a wash and pray at the mosque. Afterwards we have a big feast celebrating the end of fasting. It was a good excuse for me to not go to school when I was young

Any advice for anyone fasting....avoid eating full on curry for Sehri! (the early morning meal prior to the start of fast). You'll feel terrible throughout the day

Last year we held sponsored fasts for non muslims at our uni. Highly recommend it as it was a great way for others to learn about other religions and raising money for charity!

Hmm i see your point bruva but i dunno, i may be generous to everyone!

We will see how much i make from now till eid, and yeh i heard it was 2 wwek from yesterday aswell! its either on a sunday or a mondey in 2 weeks, im not sure tho.

It seems like by reading this thread that about 1/4 of the members on exceem are muslims! btw, i'm not a muslim.
