Anyone know what this is about?
I can guess, but how does it work?

You just click it if you wnat to thank someone for the post. We've had other systems but this one's just an instant click so hopefully people should use it this time! The reputation is still there too though.

Well you have 'disabled' your reputation, its the small pips just above your avatar! And people can add to your rep. by clicking that small icon just at the top of posts on the right!

At the top of each post there is a button to add to a member's reputation.

I think that it is just the amount of pips you have thats how high your rep. is! But then again I am a noob so how would I know?

The number of marks is the first indication, but if you scroll your mouse over it then it gives a little message. You don't have a reputation as you've chosen to disable it though!

How does this work, you have two sections - Thanks and Thanked????

I think basically when you "thank" someone, its shows up in your "thanks" section and when someone thanks you it shows up in your "thanked" section... e.g "7 thanks in 3 posts"

or, if you're a MOD everyone will thank you for every post just for brownie points lol

aye, its designed to cut down on post count spammers saying "thanks" etc to every thread, this way its a good method to show your appricatioion to a thread etc without spamming (and in some ways people are more likley to thank than write a reply so you get to see what sort of posts people like, then everything on exceem gets better and better, then we take over the world

)
