how would you know though? Surely everyones first plan of action when they get a new phone is to top it up?

Go to eBay and do a search for gold sim card and you'll soon see what they are.

Gold card (or platinum) are just numbers that are easy to remember or run in sequence e.g. 07*** 111 222 or 07*** 123 456

I am sorry I did make a mistake, and I realised some time ago but I couldnt access eXceem for some srange reason for me to post this! I had to restart my router and kick off everyone else frommy network before I cold access eXceem (STRANGE!) now I realise that a golden number is one that is easy to remember....(I checked ebay!)

And i understand your point about how would you know if you have one of these hard to get sims well it is a number that starts with something like - 07856 - something like that, I have forgotten it now but if i find out I will post it here!
