Steve Irwin

R.I.P

He died yesterday aged 44, stung by a stingray in the chest, it killed him straight away, whilst filming a documentary on Tiger Sharks.

I loved his programmes, he was really funny, and a very enternaining person!

I don't really want to say "I can't believe he died", because I can, he let himself get into very dangerous situations, but at least he died doing what he loved.

God bless him and his family!

Re: Steve Irwin

i was fortunate to meet him in person while i visited his Zoo in australia. he was a lovely man, posed for photo's and took the time to talk to everyone that wanted to speak to him. Very sad but as his manager and friend said, he died doing what he loved.

Re: Steve Irwin

RIP Steve, I feel so sorry for his wife and kids.

Was extremely surprised when I heard it was a stingray, and not a croc or something though.

Re: Steve Irwin

I read this first thing this morning.

Sad news and i do feel sorry for Terri, Bindi and Bob oh and Suey the dog

Must say its shocking to think all of the animals he handled, he was killed by a Stingray which incidently they say is a very rare occurance infact only 3 people have died from a stingray barb Telling the kiddies was the worst bit though as they love to watch 'Croc Files' on Discovery.
