| Re: DS Lite Black or White?I am selling my DS on ebay as well to get a DS lite. It was sold last week for £96. I was well chuffed seeing as it was second hand and had no games. Unfortunately the winning bidder has not payed up and is ignoring my emails etc. I thought it was too good to be true. Anyway...Black or White - You don't want to be seen as racist so get the black (just kidding). The black is more expensive on amazon by £5. Alot of people complain about fingerprints on the outside glossy exterior and how they are always having to clean it. The plastic buttons on the white seem to turn yellow after a while but this does not show up on the black one. The white DS seems to be suffering from cracks in the hinge. The numbers affected are small - 0.02% - and Nintendo will replace them for free if you get a crack. I called Nintendo and they said some black DS's also have cracks, Its just more people own whites so there will be more people reporting cracked white DSs. If you want to stand out from the crowd get the black, otherwise save yourself £5 and get the white. |
