Office chair advice

I'm looking for a new chair for sitting at my computer. I have one from Ikea, (this one) but cant sit on it for more than a few hours without ending up with a sore bottom or back.

So I'm looking to get a new chair, possibly spending up to around £100 if it means getting one that I can sit on for a full work day. It's difficult knowing how comfortable a chair will be without sitting on it though so anyone got any recomendations.

Whatever you do do not buy one of these!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B003..._gw_p229_d0_i2

I've only had eight months and the covering is cracking, and creaks like hell. Very noisy!

I have one of those, mine isn't that bad just got bashes on the side (own fault).

Wouldn't it just be a good bet to go into staples, try their chairs and then use their computers in store to check if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, cheeky, yes but i do it all the time

That makes it comfy? Having your legs raised from the upward tilt at the front makes it look awkward.

I was thinking of doing that (going into staples that is) but wasn't sure if they actually had the chairs on view.

Went to staples at the weekend actually do buy some photo paper and there was a whole selection of chairs and desks on display at my local store. Might be worth a pop in.

mrplow is an unknown quantity at this point
You need a mesh chair. Leather ones might be comfy but if you're gonna be sitting in it a long time you'll be drowning in balls soup.
