Affiliate marketing

Besides the likes of FJ kudos and xpango, what other networks or products do you promote/sell online?

I'm looking for ideas for a new website, which niches would you suggest?

I've done Amazon and 3. I tend to browse CJ and see what's doing well but don't really get round to promoting much!

Yeah I use CJ as well. Sometimes takes a while for them to approve you though.

Haven't got any experience of drop-shipping but know of it and what it is. I can also help you set up the store if you want.

I actually did a lot of drop shipping in the last 6 months. The good thing about it is that there is no risk. Anybody want to work with me for 50%?

Here is the new site I started building, I am leaving my old site that I used for this: http://electro-mall.com/

aside from Amazons bestsellers, looking for topics that have books in the "xyz for Dummies" books series can give some good ideas about what kind of diy / self-help info people are looking for. then check for how much competition there is for the search term, if you want to stay with less saturated niches.

then, the trick is to find good converting and low refund product(s) for the topic! I'm hunting for niches right now myself and I'll let you know if anything stands out. I'm a health & fitness geek, so I'm concentrating on those areas, but you have to look at sub-sub categories, bec it's huge. all sorts of gear, if you want to do physical products. "barefoot running" shoes have a cult following. haven't looked at any keyword stats on those yet. things like sports bras and men's compression shirts and shorts might not be saturated.

I have heard that diy stuff like building custom shelving, back yard deck, etc., is always popular. don't know what products, but my woodworking friends are always raving about power tools.

have fun!

Theres a lot of money in the gambling affiliates. Most gambling sites offer to triple or double a customers deposit so thats a good incentive for them and something you can take advantage of. I make £100- £150 monthly off this and you don't really need to make that many sales to reach this.

Out of interest what do you do when someone tells you they didn't receive their item? Or that they received it broken? You suddenly become the middle man in a fight between a customer who presumes you shipped it yourself so expects immediate service, and a supplier who knows they aren't talking to the real customer so doesn't feel hugely compelled to bend over backwards.

you build a good relationship with the dropshipper in question then you can forward all emails to them, dropshipping is very popular. ebay is flooded with them. ill tell you this. people even list amazon items on ebay for a extra mark up and + postage too you can make a nice wedge from this alone, seeing as amazon offer free shipping on alot of items
