Facebook Timeline for iPhone... Is poo!

So I've been going through and reading some of the nice birthday messages I got yesterday on my Facebook timeline on my iPhone. I open the notifications drop down and there a 2 notifications: 'this person and 12 others have said happy birthday', 'this person and 6 others have said happy birthday'. So I click on one of those but it only shows me the one persons' 'happy birthday' message. So I go back to the other notification and exactly the same. Instead I scroll down through the timeline and see a few messages until I come to a notice saying "12 other people have said happy birthday to John" which I can't click!

So basically, say 20 people have left a message, I can only read half of them! And the one I'm trying to find I can't actually see!

(and as a side note the timeline's not in order... I wasn't on FB really yesterday but it still has that I changed my location and read an article somewhere mixed in-between the Happy Birthday messages even though I did it a few weeks ago!)

My conclusion... Facebook Timeline for iPhone is sh!t!! Anyone else have these problems of not actually being able to see messages/notifications?

Yes I do to some extent. They have all the notifications on the computer, but if you're walking about then it's kind of useless.

Oh I looked and mine and figured it out. Go to said post on your timeline. Then scroll right to left with your finger to get to the next comments.

I had "51 comments left for your birthday" and then I saw a little cut off box and scrolled. Try it.

Facebook Timeline has had alot of complaints, I read that everyone would have timeline by 28th Dec 2011, but i haven't and a lot of my friends still don't have it... Is it an opt-in only thing or will everyone get it whether or not you like it??

I know my friends that are using timeline are having problems with it on iPhone and on Android phones... They should have only released it on a beta for testing then sorted out all the bugs and the then roll it out gradually, Not we have a new update here you go...

I have read lots of articles, but don't know which ones to believe... Any one got any info on Facebook Timeline??

It's actually quite good (good as an advertising tool: John Saunders | Facebook) I haven't really had any problems with it other than this one on the iPhone App!

The scroll right thing also works with friends as well, it's kind of annoying how they don't have clear buttons anymore and you have to click something that relates to it and hope its there, like yesterday I wanted to post a photoalbum now on the phone if I click the photo button on the status area it asks if I want to take or upload A photo so you would assume the PC is the same, only after literally clicking every button on facebook did I decide I would give up and upload them one by one. Then low and behold the "Upload Album" button appeared..

Facebook timeline is poo full stop! I've heard that it's being rolled out so everyone will be using it soon and they are ditching the opt in option.

I didn't opt in because it's pants and don't want it at all so wont be happy when they force it on you.
