  |  I hate insurance companies.My insurance company has declined a claim on my mobile phone. I lost it on the train and i had followed all the procedures and they had said that it was ok. I got a letter today saying that the claim was declined because I didnt take "reasonable precautions" to prevent the loss of my phone on the train. Everyone here will need to tell me how precautions can be taken? Even if I did those, whats the point in having loss cover on insurance if people take precautions every waking moment. Also do I complain to the company and make an appeal?

 | Did you have a Galaxy S II? If yes, then *maybe* I could help you in finding your phone.. Try using Samsung Dive, if you had made a Samsung Account on your phone: www.samsungdive.com It did help me, when I thought I lost my phone, but I'd actually forgotten it at my uncle's place..

| Do you still have the pin codes etc. for it? You may be able to use an online program or take it to the police and see if they can track it. Bound to be picked up by someone.

| police said they cant do anything. Hell, the police didnt even investigate a colleague's car being broken in to. I just need to send a letter to teh company or take it to FOS.
