iPhone Event Confirmed: Let's Talk iPhone

On October 4th, Apple will be holding an event they've called "Let's Talk iPhone". They've started inviting select members of the press to the event.

From what I've read around the net, they're going to release the phone very soon after announcing it.

i thought they made a mistake lol.

i thought the 4 meant the day, and the 10 meant the month. all this morning i was thinking americans are bare stupid because they use MM/DD/YYYY dating reference. but then i realised that the second one meant the time. lol.

i have a 3gs as well but i may pay to get the early upgrade not sure yet.

It'll be worth it for the battery life alone compared to a 3GS! When I upgraded to the 4 that was the 1st thing I noticed!

my battery now dies half way though school so i now have to charge it in class before lunch

iv got iphone4 on sim free

, just got out of my contract and im now with a company called "Giff Gaff". for anyone who lives in the UK i couldnt recommend them enough £25 for 800 mins, unlimited text, unlimited internet, they just dont supply phones which is great for me as i was paying £40 a month with vodafone for same deal!! They also have AMAZING customer service and even find ways for you to save money (no i do not work for them)

I will prob wait to see what the new iphone looks like, wait for all the problems to be resolved and then get one in the new year, as i can see ebay filling up with iphone 4's over the next few weeks!!

I am on GiffGaff, sometimes top up £10 for 250 minutes, Unlimited Texts and Unlimited Data. Good with an iPhone, with the data and that.

Do Giff Gaff send you a iPhone sim or do you have to start cutting it up. I never use the contract I have on orange (minutes wise) but always use the data and texts and its costing me £25 per month! (Not on an iPhone)

The reason I dont upgrade to an iPhone is I don't want to lose the data I have.

You have to cut it up yourself... Giffgaff data is good, I use many Gbs downloading apps etc. There doesn't seem to be a limit to how much you download but you can't tether.
