Yup, iMessage. The only reason my girlfriend got a BB was cox her friends had them and they could chat on BBM...

I also think that Apple to take most of the corporate phone Market as well if they sorted out their email system! I'll get emails on my work BlackBerry before they even come through on my computer! The iPhone has to go get the info so it's not instant... Sort that out and Apple will completely dominate! Especially as they have a much more secure iOS, and we're now using software at work that will block jailbroken iPhones but allow normal secure one!

Hmmm... Any chance that iMessage would be able to detect Jailbroken phones & deny to work on 'em? And yeah, a few other questions...

1 - Will iMessage also be for iPod Touch?
2 - Will iMessage require some kinda Internet connection, or will it work like BBM without WiFi or 3G? Will this be the same case for iCloud?

Just asking, because, if say, it's like Windows Activation, you can't access MS apps like Wordpad, Paint & similar stuff without an Activation message, if the Windows is fake, right? What if any of the new apps can detect jailbreak, and prevent to function properly? Then it's all money for Apple.. People will have to pay for every app..

@sufiyan, i think they can be used on jailbroken phones. i mean i have mine jailbroken and everything works fine.

As for the wifi/3g question, they will need one or the other. i think it needs some data connection to send. BBM has that as well, its just embedded into the contract cost so its seems as if there is no charges.

Nope, Vanish. You're mistaken. We don't get BBs here on contracts. But, they still do use BBM free of charge..

All places may get charged or not for BBM, it either runs on WiFi which will be free or if it is unavailable, your 3G connection.
