| Mini Mac | Snooker/Pool cue questionsI've been playing pool for a few months now and I'm starting to take a real interest in it, but I think it is about time to get my own cue. There are a few questions that I have, such as where to buy a decent cue, how much it will cost and the variations between each cue. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks. |

| What to put... | I have no clue to be honest, i play but i just use the cues provided, i just would like to ask what is the difference? Weight, ease of use, buoyancy ect. Obviously you don't use the broken cues at the club, you can generally hear if they are broken by tapping them on the ground and if it makes noises then it is broken inside or thats what i have heard

| FJ Network Owner | I spent £30 on my cue from sports direct and I love it. It's a very personal choice tbh and I recommend going into a shop and trying it first. Mine is variable weight so I can make it heavier or lighter to suit. The main difference is the tip though. The Smaller the better. Pub cues tend to be like frying pans and you can't get any spin at all on the ball.

| Looking for a new job!! | Take a look at Thurston - The home of snooker for over 200 years I worked in pubs for 10 years and played in Pool and Snooker teams for all that time. I have different cues for Pool and Snooker and got them from Thurstons. I have had customisations and repair work done by them too and they are nothing but professional.
