Being under 18...what a bummer...

This may seem like a bit of a risque topic, but does anyone have any knowledge of wether or not online gambling sites check your ages really thoroughly? Like needing to know ID card numbers or passport info etc...I was just wondering how easy it is to sneak under the radar, that's all.

Anyone who is in the same position as me (my guess is not that many...) please post any past experiences you may have had.

i wouldn't go their, ask your parents to do the gambling offers, thats what i do once i get the referrals

Yeh, that seems reasonable...but right now, that does not seem like a good option, because they are SO skepticle...I tried to get my dad to sign up to partystakers, to get $25 free and, quote "I don't think your mother would be happy with that, besides how do you know it isn't a scam"

I suppose that is the best way of getting rid of the skepticism...isn't it. I mean, once he has seen a forum prety much full of trustworthy peeps i am sure he will be swayed, if not...i suppose i have not gained or lost any ground since starting this post.

With it being the grand national tommorrow you could see if they are up for a small bet on a horse, some of the sites have betfair as a offer which is a trusted betting site

As with any internet transaction, if you see the yellow padlock in the status bar (or on firefox now the addres bar turns yellow) the internet conection between your pc and hte site is a secure one and their card details are 100% safe (well it would take all of the worlds computers around 3 years or so to crack it!)

I just don't bother with gambling ones. It's not really something I'd want to do anyway, online gambling.

You could just say you are over 18, then if they ask for proof, just cancel your account and don't bother with it.

It seems like most of exceems members are young, many under 18. The older generation is full of skeptics!

Probably because the younger people are students without jobs and can't afford ipods, so explore the ideas of freebies more.

The older people will most likely be employed so can afford ipods and don't bother checking the legality of freebie sites.

hey, i'm under 18 too, just did easy things like the tickle test and payed by visa electron. not sure if they accept solo cards...just don't bother with the online gambling ones! tickle test made me green but it's taken quite along time to process. evn with my friends who did it, but it did evntually
