ebay.... i know someone who bought one one there, apparently theres a argos clearence ebay account that deals with all the refurbished items.

basicly the kids hinge and outer case snapped to get it fixed it was going to cost 176 pounds n a refurbed one on bigpockets are £150ish, there not the greatest spec but ideal for msn n facebook.

Dell have an outlet store dealing with refurbs/reconditioned- maybe a bit pricey for what you're after. If you're just wanting it for surfing/social networls we can get some decent netbooks for about £100

well my mate paid £180 for a refurbed samsung laptop, great specs, and works perfectly fine. ive never used the ebay account personally myself but as i said my mates has had a good experience buying from it.

nah the prices are ok i want one with a cd/dvd drive etc to put stuff on ect but not essentional etc , suppose ill keep searching

Yep, Argos Clearance Bargains is one of the best... Used it a few times (iPod Touch, Netbook etc.) Items were good and price was even better! There are a few more reputable ones, which turn up when searching on eBay...
