How long can a amazon.co.uk gift card last for if it has been applied to my Account?

well iv received a few amazon vouchers in the past like last year and haven't had a chance to use them and wanted how long have i got before they expire they have been applied to my amazon account though

Email them, they give you a detailed breakdown of when each certificate will expire.

I've always wondered when it says you have a year, does this mean a year to actually apply this to your account or a year to actually spend it.

A year to spend it from when you receive it.
