Unlocking Orange phone

I am looking to buy a Blackberry 8520 and someone will give me one for £90 brand new. The problem is that they are looked to Orange PAYG.

How much does it cost to unlock and is it possible to unlock a Blackberry 8520 from Orange?

Thank you very much.

call up orange and they will give it to you. Just give them your IMEI number and what they ask for

Thanks, either way I'll need the IMEI number.

BTW I replied on your other thread to do with your website, did that work?

No problem, on Chrome browser you can play about with the source code and it changes it (only for that person though), so I just changed the width of the image and video to '400' and it was back to normal.

Or take it to an independent phone shop as lots of them do unlocking.

Might have to do that, thanks. The phone is 2nd hand (very good condition though!) and the person has downloaded the Facebook app ..... wonder if they are still logged in

I'm using this and on this step it asks for the MEP Network code. How do I get this?

Just a guess but I think that is something you will probably have to contact orange about.
