Where is 2345876?

Evening people, I thought I would give you all an update as to where I have been in the last couple of days.

On Monday I started my 5 week block placement in q Primary School. On Wednesday morning I began to get a sore throat and had much discomfort when it game to swallowing. I survived the day and went to bed at 5.30 until the following morning when my throat had became much worse. My neck and entire face had swept up and I could no longer speak, eat, drink or swallow and was in extreme discomfort.

So, that evening dad took me to the doctors who immediately referred me to Cumberland Infirmary and there ENT unit. I arrived at 7pm and had developed a rash all over my body and had very high temperature and blood pressure. It was found that I had a quincy at the back of my throat which is a large abcess full of lovely puss.

The nurse tried there and then to extract some of the puss but with no joy as my mouth would not open far enough. So I have spent all last night and today on a drip pumping roids and drugs into my system which has helped to ease the pain. Sadly I need to spend at least one more night here before things sort out.

After that it will be freebie hunting from me as usual!

Hope this all makes sense - using HTC Desire - it is a godsend in here.

ive had an abscess in a awkward place and was pinfull as hell, even after the op i had a nurse come to my house for 2 weeks to change the dressing, not a pleasant sight for her every morning lol.
