If you're an F1 fan, then you'll be aware of Hermann Tilke and the boring ciruits he designs, including the Bahrain bore amongst others. He's just been appointed to design the new USA F1 circuit in Austin Texas. He's only been appointed as him and Bernie have 'an agreement'.
I think if you're a proper F1 fan, and you want to raise your concerns, you should send an email to the promoters of the F1 race in Austin, and add your voice to the many F1 fans around the world.
It's about time that the people that run F1 start to listen to what the fans want.

Dear Sir,
I am contacting you to express my concern over the appointment of Hermann Tilke to design the new Formula 1 race circuit in Austin, Texas and to add my voice to those of the many Formula 1 fans around the World. As an avid fan of Formula 1 since the late 80's, I have become increasingly frustrated over the past several years at the lack of exciting races being run during the Forumla 1 season.
When I first started watching Forumla 1 at the age of 11, I was gripped by the exciting close action racing and overtaking that occurred in every race. But recent seasons have had races that could be described, at best, as boring. The opening race to this season, at Bahrain, was quite possibly one of the most boring races I have ever watched. As you'll be aware, the circuit at Bahrain was designed by Hermann Tilke, along with several others on the Forumla 1 race calendar.
I urge you to consider the Formula 1 fans around the World, and especially within the USA, and take our concerns seriously to ensure that the circuit design does not turn out to produce yet more boring races. It should be more than just about corporate hospitality, and having the cars parade at high speed.
The fans are the people that should be getting excited about the prospect of a new race circuit. Whilst I realise that adding excitement to races is not down to the circuit alone, it plays a huge part. If you take some time to view some of the comments posted about this announcement on the internet, I think you'll soon discover that already the prospect of another Hermann Tilke design is not an appealing one.
Yours faithfully

I got an automated response that they've had an overwhelming response from media and others parties, but they've received my email.
