Re: UFC rampage v evans

not the greatest fightcard in the world (especially with Forrest dropping out) but the main event should be pretty gd.

judging from the primetime episodes I'd say Evans has it in the bag - he looks in insane shape.

gotta back rampage though, he is hilarious!

Will be interesting to see if Bisping can get back to winning ways.

Also spotted another Brit on the card, John Hathaway. Looks good with a 13-0 record.

Can't wait for it. What're you guys thinking? Rampage or Rashad? I just can't really see evans loosing unless he just carelessly gets caught. Also, I'd much rather see evans vs rua than rampage again (he fought rua in pride).

Interested to see how Todd Duffee will do, only got to see 7 secs last time he fought, he looks massive now. Don't know much about his opponent tho.

I think Bisping is going to really struggle going forward. Although he has said otherwise I really don't know how much of his head can be the in the fight tonight when he had to leave his new child just hours after it being born to go and fight. That's got to be playing on his mind a bit.

Hathaway is a good fighter but Diego Sanchez is great. After the beating he took from BJ Penn at 107 however who knows what his confidence is like going into the fight.

I've done a quick little hype post on my UFC to blog (cheap plug )

I think dan miller has a bit more on his mind than bisping. With the recent loss of a child and his son struggling atm. It's an interesting matchup.

What did have me a bit concerned was at the weigh ins he went straight to a bottle of water after, a lot of the time that means it must've been a difficult cut.

Miller has definitely not had a good past year. I didn't catch the weigh ins, what did he look like on the scales?

Cutting the weight before a match seems like one of the hardest parts of fighting. Some of the fighters you see at the weigh-ins look so dehydrated that they're about to collapse.

Ye, I think I'd break mentally trying to do that every fight.

Did you see james irvine at UFC on versus? Looked like a skeleton. They both looked ok on the scales, don't know if miller was also drinking off camera, but Bisping def went straight to the bottle. Although I'd never really question his cardio, pretty reliable.

Here's a link if you want to watch them
