iPhone HD? Due in Sept 2010?

Just been doing some searching and reading... it seems more likely the next gen iPhone will be called the iPhone HD rather than 4G.

I found this a good read: WSJ: Apple 'developing new iPhone,' plus another for Verizon (update: iPhone HD, front-facing camera?) -- Engadget

Features: A4-class SoC, a 960 x 640 display, a front-facing camera, and that iPhone OS 4.0 will enable third-party multitasking.

What do you think it will be called?

(edit: was just checking for domains and see the UK one I was looking for is taken by a freebiejeebies user!!)

I saw that earlier aswell... but i doubt it will be called HD... its never called what they think it will be called first time round

Think the iPhone 3G was originally billed as that though an was right despite me thinking it wouldn't. I don't think it will be myself but it might be. Either way i might be in the market for the new iphone if they can radically improve it again and make me want to fork the cash out for it!

got it wrong with the 3gs though i think... one guy is consistent with apple naming stuff but i cant remember the name of his blog..

Im going to go for the new iphone if my red run ever goes away

How annoying I just got the 3gs about 2 months ago. Great only a year and abit to go.

Yeah, I read this with interest yesterday too.
However, I imagine by the time it comes out, the 3G will be discontinued and I'll be billions of greens away from getting a 3GS. Humpf!!

This is the 4G! They are the same thing... but it's more likely to be called the iPhone HD not 4G

On account of it's HD screen and shmorgas board of bits. To be honest I'm looking forward to seeing what the first else phone will be like. Some r calling it the iPhone killer.
