Feeling the nervs now...

Ok just thought I'd tell you guys that tomorrow I've got a massive race (running).

I've been picked to run for Cheshire (my county) in the National School's Cross Country 2010 tomorrow in Manchester. We had to qualify to run for the race, so basically I'm against all the best runners in all of the county's in the UK.

I'm running 6.5KM.

I've got to get there for 10am and my race isn't until 3pm so quite a long wait, the reason is we need to walk the course before they close it so you can't walk on it!

Anyway, just thought I'd say, no body will care probably, but I'm proud of running for my county.

I should really get to sleep!

I never qualified for my county (Shropshire) - you had to come like in the top 5 out of 50. I was probably around 5th from the back lol

Thanks everyone!

Errm I normally do it in around 25-30 mins, can't remember exactly, bearing in mind it's cross country and apparently tomorrow's course is really hilly!

Haha in the whole country? I'd be lucky to get in the top 100-150 if i'm honest!

I'll say how I got on, but don't expect it to be anywhere near amazing! lol

when it starts hurting think of Eddie Izzard who just recently ran 40+ consecutive full marathons and he wasn't a runner before he did this.
