 | I've still got a job. Phew!Well some of you might have read that I was threatened with redundancy a few months ago, and for the past few weeks I've been cackin it that I was going to lose my job. Well, we found out this week that our jobs are safe. We had to lose 38 from my dept, 35 were found through voluntary, and the other 3 getting the chop are managers. I'm so relieved. I went into the meeting when we got told the other day fully believing we were about to get told we were all getting the chop. It would have been the last thing I needed right now. I hope I never have to go through that again. |

  | Phew.. I am getting paranoid too.... do you work in a patcularly recession hi business?? I am in high end retail which seems to be a bit hit and miss at the moment!!

 | Congrats on keeping your job. I know exactly how you feel my place of work has payed off people every january for the last 2 years and i've been lucky to escape the cull so far, when i started with them 12yrs ago there was over 170 people working on the shop floor and now there is only about 65.
