...are so stupid when they enter their emails!

I must say I'm glad that out of 1088 emails only 7 were invalid... but they're such silly mistakes! Do they not check before hitting enter?!

Yep that can sometimes be anoying..but ey..if they complete an offer im sure it would not matter !!

If the emails are invalid though, how would they log into their account in the first place?

Out of interest, have you had much luck from emailing your reds? And has your email been a standard format or HTML?

I have alway just emailed them straight away (or a soon as I notice them sign up) and just done a short standard email saying 'ta for signing up, do this, do that, this offer is free, exceems cool, thanks'. I can't really say if it work or not, but it may have pushed one or two over the edge who were sitting on the fence. Then again, it may have put people off, somehow! I've no idea of knowing tbh! Sorry!

I started to use what Furbs linked to in another thread. It's an emailer thing. You get your 1st 25 emails free then you have to pay for more... but you can upload your csv from fj and then it told me 7 of my 1088 emails were invalid.

I do find sometimes that when I send an email hotmail won't let me because the email address doesn't exist and I get a "postmaster failure" email, not just for these 7.

Not sure if this is any help to anyone but mailchimp Email Marketing and Email List Manager | MailChimp offers a free service that lets you send I think 500 emails a month. Might be worth checking out.

So I'd be able to add just under half of my sign ups, and send at least an email a week! Maybe i can rotate the emails or something.

Do you use a template or something for your emails? Html or Standard?! I want to set something up that's gunna be good, like a proper newsletter!

Surely that's borderline spamming?

Email them once or twice, and if they don't respond/complete an offer, I'd say that's all you should do.

lol, I wasn't implying I was going to email them 6 times a month... just saying that's the equivalent of.

I only email them once when they sign up. then maybe again 6months later if i remember!

yep thats what I do but every 3-4 months...I have only ever had 2 convertions from doing this. I think its a waste of time, but I supose its the quality of the email that does the trick
